Eureka Springs Elopement by Arkansas Wedding Photographer The Dogwood Collective

On the 1st of February, I traveled to Eureka Springs for an unusually warm winter elopement. Lathan, Jenna and their families traveled up from Louisiana to celebrate their vows, and when I asked them why they chose Arkansas, this is what Jenna had to say:

“After Lathan and I had spent several weeks touring venues around the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area we decided to sit down for coffee and breakfast at a local spot and discuss what WE really wanted for our big day. After expressing our anxieties about being in front of a big crowd we decided that we would elope and have a small ceremony at place we absolutely love! I’ve always been in awe of the ThornCrown Chapel and remember showing Lathan a random picture when we had first started dating so I was definitely taken aback when he mentioned ” the glass chapel in the woods”. It was decided at that moment we would get married at the ThornCrown chapel and invite only immediate family with hopes that they could make the trip. Eloping was best decision we could have made! It took the stress off the day and we were able to focus on US. We were just so excited to finally be joined as one in such a beautiful place!”

I LOVE that.

Here are a few highlights of their day.
