Fun fact: Nanci and I have been best friends since 6th grade. We have lived in separate states for 6+ years now, and we only see each other maybe once or twice a year. Fortunately, we have a friendship that isn’t phased or changed by the time spent apart. We catch right back up the next time we see each other and it’s something I am incredibly grateful for.

With everything going on, I was afraid I wouldn’t get to see her or her husband Jake before they had their first baby girl. We made it happen though, and the visit was so sweet. We decided to keep their maternity pictures simple. I took photos while she made us both breakfast, she soaked in a milk bath (and almost over heated..woops) and then put one of her grandmothers dresses on and we headed to some of their family’s land. Everything was perfect. 

Jake and Nanci, I can’t wait to meet your little girl.
